Charles Goodbody
Accredited Family Mediator
Charles was a solicitor and partner with Middletons Solicitors with offices in Warminster, Amesbury and Stockbridge, specialising in Family Law for 45 years. He retired as a solicitor in August 2023 but continues to work as an accredited family
mediator.
He is a member of Resolution and the Family Mediation Council and is qualified to undertake hybrid mediation which allows lawyers to attend mediation sessions if instructed to do so by their clients. His experience suggests that the alternative dispute resolution process (ADR) provides the best outcomes in family cases.
Mediation is an important limb of that ADR process. Charles undertakes Mediation Information and Advisory Meetings (MIAM).
Chris Jolly
Civil Mediator
Chris Jolly has 50 years’ experience in the Law specialising in Commercial/Civil Dispute Resolution including disputes relating to Property, Wills and Estates, Professional Negligence; as well as a broad range of Contractual Disputes.
As well as being a qualified Civil Mediator for over 10 years, he is a Solicitor Advocate (civil) and a member of the PNLA.
He is very approachable, pragmatic at finding solutions, and with an eye for detail.
Lucy Buttle
Family Mediator
Lucy trained to be a mediator with the Family Mediators Association in 2022. She is working towards her accreditation.
Lucy is a member of the FMC and FMA. She is a solicitor and Head of Family with Middletons Solicitors which has offices in Warminster, Amesbury and Stockbridge.
Lucy believes that family issues are best suited to resolution in mediation not in court. Lucy undertakes Mediation Information and Advisory Meetings (MIAM).
